Ballroom Open Social

Welcome back ballroom dance lovers! Based on the positive feedback and turnout last time we are doing this again! Come out for a dinner and a dance evening! The goal is for students, instructors and overall dancers to come together for an evening of dancing at an open ballroom social. Put your dance lessons and love for ballroom dance music to work! Make it an evening to get out and enjoy downtown Sarasota, it’s restaurants, shops, waterfront and more. For all attendees, the restaurant will have a $30 prix-fix any time of the night. As you know there is a full restaurant on premises, full bars, outdoor lounge area to sit, eat and drink. 6:00pm - 6:30pm (Free class with Tiana Ramirez of Fred Astaire Sarasota) Learn the basics of Ballroom Dancing! 6:30pm - 8:30pm (Open Floor and Ballroom Music Rotating) Music Selection: Music will be a rotation of ballroom genres that include Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Swing, Viennese Waltz, Bolero, Mambo, Paso Doble, ChaCha. You are more than welcome to stay or come back and attend the night latin dance social that goes on from 9pm-2am at NO Extra Cost. At 9pm there is a free latin dance class and then dancers from all over SW Florida come and dance to salsa, bachata, merengue and chacha socially with each other from 10pm-2am
