Ballrooming Blues taster class at Swing Pit

For one night only, Juke Joint is coming to Swing Pit where Jo and Andy will be teaching an all-levels Ballrooming Blues class. Ballrooming Blues is a beautiful slower style of dancing done to smooth, jazzy Blues music and is also a fabulous way to dance to slower swing and jazz. Plus it's an awesome way to really improve your connection and flow, which is great for ALL your swing dancing. The class will give you an introduction to this style of Blues dancing, then we'll add some beautiful flowing moves to have you gliding across the floor in no time. This class is suitable for everyone: whether you're new to Blues or an old hand, you'll get something new from this class as we'll start easy but gradually ramp up the challenge as the class progresses. Plus, we will have the huge space of St Stephens to work with, so we'll be able to teach all those fabulous travelling moves that we don't normally have room for at Juke Joint! Then after our Blues taster, we'll be bringing it back to Lindy Hop for the regular Level 1/Beginners class. Feel free to come to one class or both - the choice is yours! TIMES: 7pm - Ballrooming Blues taster class - all levels 8pm - Level 1 / Beginners swing class 9pm - Social dancing! Two hours of DJ action to get you moving!
