BAM Brights Masquerade Dance

Join us on Saturday, April 2 at Holt Commons for a masquerade-style dance! Wear bright clothes and bring your own mask if you'd like-- we will have several available at the door. As always, please bring a clean pair of shoes to wear on the dance floor. Hope to see you all there! Here's the schedule: 6:30-8:00 - Beginner Salsa Rueda 8:00-11:00 - Social dancing Salsa Rueda is a fun dance style from Cuba in which pairs of dancers form a circle and all perform moves simultaneously as the moves are called by one person. Intricate though it sounds, the basics are not hard to learn. It is certainly an experience you won't want to miss! Cost for members: free lesson, $3 for social dancing For non-members: $5 for the lesson, $5 additional for social dancing. *Attendance is limited to UW students, faculty, staff, members of the organization, and their guests.If you do not fall under any of the aforementioned groups, contact us and we will treat you as guests of the council. **Information on parking can be found on the website, www.ballroomuw.org
