Batucada Carioca brings the essence of the Brazilian Carnaval to Lula Lounge on Sunday, December 16! Join us in wrapping up 2012 in high spirits and wishing a great 2013 for everyone. The evening will be filled with a diverse repertoire featuring Batucada's signature traditional samba along with some fusion grooves and other Brazilian rhythms. Classic songs from some of Rio de Janeiro's top Samba Schools including Mangueira, Portela, União da Ilha, Mocidade, Salgueiro as well as songs written by renowned sambistas such as Martinho da Vila and Zeca Pagodinho will make it very hard to resist the impulse to dance like it's the last dance of the year!
We will also be joined by very special guests Aline Morales and Cibelle Iglesias with their radiant presence singing a few tunes.
Our good friend DJ General Eclectic will also be keeping you on the dance floor!
