Beginner Contact Improv Class w Ezra LeBank

The contact improvisation dance beginner night takes place once a month at the Santa Monica Contact Improvisation Dance Jam. We start the evening with a 1-hour class/warmup suitable for all levels followed by open jamming. He was previously Assistant Professor of Theatre & Dance at The University of Montana, and has taught at The Juilliard School, Purchase College, Smith College, and Vassar College/Powerhouse Theatre. He teaches and performs across the world including recent workshops and festivals in Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Ireland, England, Sweden, France, Poland, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Israel, Estonia, Canada, Italy, Belgium, and across the United States. He is recognized internationally as a specialist in Biomechanics, Contact Improvisation, Partner Acrobatics & Clown.
