What do you do when you want to become a better competitor? Learn how judging West Coast Swing competitions actually works! Learn what it is like from the other side of the clipboard! Learn how the competitions actually work! What gets the judges' attention good & bad? How much time and focus does the competitor get from each judge? How can a judge see all of the competitors in a large heat? This is a "Behind the Clipboard" class where the curtain is pulled back and you see how everything really works. Gary Jobst has been dancing West Coast Swing for close to 30 years and is a two-time U.S. Open Swing Dance Champion. He also has earned many Champions Jack & Jill & Strictly Swing titles. He has been teaching and judging West Coast Swing for over 25 years. He is a respected and sought-after West Coast Swing Head Judge at dance events worldwide. This workshop is typically the first two hours of the GPDIA Judges Certification & Training for West Coast Swing for those who aspire to become certified WCS judges
