Big Outdoor Ecstatic Dance

We will be hosting a big ecstatic dance with the goal to gather 100 people together to spread the dance movement further into the world, exposing more people to the incredible power of dancing in an exciting and growing community. Our last events have had 90+ attendees! Young, old, short, tall, normal, weird, everyone is welcome and every dance move encouraged. 🕺💃 What is ecstatic dance? 🎵🎶 Ecstatic dance is a form of sober free-dance where we let go of our mind to get more into our body. We move to the rhythm and move freely to the music with no judgements of ourselves or of the others. The dance can be described as a form of movement meditation. You are welcome to feel and experience the full spectrum of human emotion and to express it on the dance floor. Ecstatic dance has been practiced throughout human history as a way to commune in celebration. A non-caffeinated herbal tea blend will be on-tap. Who are the hosts? Marc Statz is a being with an obsession with making music, dancing, tea and creating art. He learned ecstatic dance facilitation in Spain with Dance The Medicine, an international collective of established conscious and Ecstatic Dance organizers, movement facilitators and DJs. John Stuart aka LoveAmplified is an accomplished sound alchemist as a DJ, producer/MC and Vibrational Medicine practitioner. For over 25 years, his dynamic style beckons the masses to partake with him on an alchemical journey through sound. To be in John’s presence is to experience his very special brand of mind-expanding, body-grooving & soul-soothing soundscapes, which he uses as a medium to amplify the spirit of personal expression, oneness, freedom & love. Paul Grosso aka Musical Mindset is a musician, sound healer, and ceremony facilitator who is defined by raw expression and authenticity. Bringing his cultural background blended with live looping, sound healing and instrumentation, he brings a fun and engaging dance experience to events and retreats all around the world. Madleen Alsabbah is a passionate and dedicated yoga instructor with a deep-rooted love for the practice. Her journey with yoga began in 2013, where she found solace and self-discovery on the mat. In 2018, Madleen took her devotion to yoga to the next level by completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training. Madleen's teaching style reflects her diverse background, as she has worked with students ranging from the age of 5 to the age of 85. Her classes cater to a wide range of individuals, making yoga accessible to all, regardless of their experience or ability. If you bring a friend, that can be your contribution. Pay or contribute what you wish. We are trying a flexible pricing model for these events to give opportunity to those who feel called to contribute more to the growth of these events while also leaving room for anyone to join. Finances are not be prohibitive to anyone, as the goal is to create events where dance is accessible to all. With that said, creating these kinds of events are time consuming, and cost money to rent the space and support the team and the artists.
