Black & White Freestyle Friday Dance with DJ Clari at BFUU!

We invite you to join us for another fun and uplifting night of Freestyle Friday in our creative, connected community space. As usual, we'll be at the lovely BFUU in the Fellowship Hall. The hours are 7:30-10pm, starting with a half-hour warm-up. This week we're having an anniversary party! We'll be celebrating many years of dance, creative self-expression, connection, and community at Freestyle Friday/Barefoot Boogie. If you haven't been dancing with us in a while, this is a great time to come back and share your beautiful dancing presence with us again! As always, the theme is black and white, and we hope you'll get creative -- break out your playa wear, nun and zebra outfits, penguin costumes, sexy, silly, whatever. There will be extra dress-up stuff available in case you need some wardrobe assistance or just want to be able to display multiple dance personalities that evening. We're very happy to say that Clari will be our DJ for most of the dance, maybe all of it! She'll be playing a magical mix of familiar favorites and new tunes to keep you moving -- juicy world music, old-school funk and soul, current pop, positive hip-hop, happy house, spicy salsa, luscious electronica, blues and beyond. Freestyle Friday is the new incarnation of Barefoot Boogie, with a new name in part to make sure everyone knows this is happening Friday nights.
