Blackout Friday = JUNE 2ND! Takeover Week 1! YOU will be voting after the 3 Blackouts this month for the team you think threw the best night. PLEASE READ BELOW FOR A NOTE FROM HELEN AND AIDAN! ....................................................................................... We have 3 teams in our Blackout Takeover Challenge...fighting to win up to $500! Each team will have 1 night they TAKEOVER BLACKOUT! JUNE 2ND = Helen Tocco & Aidan Keith-Hynes JUNE 16TH = Brian Sforzo & Katie Smiley-Oyen JUNE 30TH = Shaheed Qaasim & Danae Cardenas That means: They teach, they DJ, they pick a theme, they run the show! After the 3 Fridays in June and each team has hosted a night, YOU will vote! Whichever team has the most votes wins the jackpot of up to $500! Basically, I'm putting up all profits from Blackout for the whole month of June and we'll give the winning team all profits up to $500! Week 1: TEAM HELEN & AIDAN! 8:00pm - 8:15pm: Warm Up/Stretch 8:15pm - 9:15pm: Free Beginner Class (Studio B) 8:15pm - 9:15pm: Int/Adv Class (Studio A) $5 9:15pm - 1:00am: Dance = $10 (Free with College ID!!!!) ................................................................................................... NOTE FROM TEAM: Tired of the heat? Welcome to the Coolest Blackout Ever! We're going to start off by showing you our coolest moves and stylings in the Intermediate class... but it gets even cooler! We'll be handing out prizes to deserving dancers throughout the night to help you keep cold, including icy cold waters and portable fans. We'll also be upping our air conditioning game by more than doubling the number of fans in the room, something I know we've all been wishing for! .............................................................................................. ONGOING DETAILS: Black Out Fridays are held on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of every month! Though we will, on occasion, move the dates, so stay informed on Facebook or Email ([email protected])! 8:00pm - 8:15pm: Warm Up/Stretch (Studio A) = Free 8:15pm - 9:15pm: Beginner Class (Studio B) = Free 8:15pm - 9:15pm: Int/Adv Class (Studio A) = $5 9:15pm - 1:00am: Dance = $10 (Free with College ID!!!!) Int/Adv Class = $5 Dance = $10 Venue = Liv'art Dance Studio in North Hollywood Address = 5200 Lankershim Blvd., Suite 100 City, Zip = North Hollywood, CA 91601 Corner = Corner or Lankershim & Magnolia Entrance = The front door faces Magnolia, across from Starbucks. Parking = There is a Parking Structure for this complex!!! The studio is on a corner, you can access the driveway for the parking structure from either street (Lankershim or Magnolia). If you pull into the driveway from Lankershim, keep straight until you run into the parking structure. If you pull in from Magnolia, take a right turn when the driveway T's off. You'll run right into the structure. You'll receive a ticket from the machine when you enter the parking structure. Bring that with you. When you walk into the studio there is a front desk and very friendly staff there willing to help! Purchase validation for $4.50 from them. They will give you 3 blue tickets. When you walk back to the structure at the end of the night, visit the pay-for-parking machine on the first floor. It will prompt you to enter your original white parking ticket. Do that. Next in the same slot enter/scan the 3 blue parking validation tickets you purchased. The total owed will tally down to zero as you scan the last blue ticket. Take your original parking ticket that is now paid, and use that to exit the structure. Our Mission: We want to inspire, grow, dance, and teach West Coast Swing.
