BLOOMING EL ENCUENTRO!

We are blessed to have so much talent right here in L.A. and El Encuentro is lucky to have a trio of talented people with us this coming Saturday, April 6th. Begin the night at 9:00 pm by taking the class with renowned performers & teachers SANDOR & PARISSSA. Because Sandor & Parissa are local, we tend to forget how long and distinguished their career is. A brief overview of their accomplishments includes the fact that Buenos Aires-born Sandor was a principal dancer in the Broadway/London hit show Forever Tango, nominated for the Tony Award “Best Choreography”. Parissa has coached several celebrities, including Antonio Banderas for the movie "Take the Lead". Together they have been featured performers on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and choreographed many of the Argentine Tangos on the show. They have also choreographed for Olympic and World Champion ice dancers. They are in constant demand for major public and private events. When Sandor & Parissa's class ends, our guest DJ JULIETA takes over. Julieta lives and breathes tango. It's in her DNA. Originally from Buenos Aires, she has been in tango since 1996, has taught and performed internationally and DJ'd internationally for the last 10 years. She is also a piano and music professor! As always El Encuentro leaves no stone unturned in order to give you a memorable night of tango.
