Blue Monkey awaits you for 4 days of ecstatic dance, downbeat, organic house, healing workshops and connection in Algarve, Portugal. ☀️💃🏽🕺🏿✨🥰🌅🌳🧚🏼‍♂️🐒 We will gather in ceremony and dance our prayers at a beautiful and raw place in the forest. Daily yoga sessions, healing workshops and ecstatic dance will connect us with the sacred, ourselves and each other. The venue is about 10 minutes by car from the next town and several beautiful beaches. Food and accommodation in own tent are included in the retreat fee. Some glamping tents and beds in the heated yurts as well as a little house are available at extra costs. Just get in touch: [email protected] Tickets 🎫 Tickets include tasty vegan breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as camping in your own tent. Early Monkey: 250€ (until October 12th) Regular Monkey: 270€ (until October 22nd) Late Monkey: 290€ (until start of retreat if tickets are still available) Portuguese nationals and residents with NIF: 250€ (please bring proof) If you need more comfort you can book a spot in the shared heated yurts or in the glamping tents at the hosting community. There is also a cosy little house with an oven heater for 2-3 people (e.g. a couple with kid) ready for booking. Bed in Shared Yurt (heated): 54€ Glamping Tent Single Occupation: 54€ (1 person) Glamping Tent Double Occupation: 72€ (price for 2 people) Little House (2-3 people, heated): 200€ The spaces in the yurts and glamping tents are very limited. If you want one please book ASAP! This is not a luxury retreat and there are no private bathrooms in any of these accommodation types. We all share the outdoor eco toilets and showers. If you need more comfort we recommend to book yourself a hotel room nearby. We know some guesthouses in Lagos that offer nice rates. If you need help please get in touch! How to get there ✈️ The closest airport is Faro. Plane tickets are currently available from easyJet, Ryanair and TAP from 100€ - 170€ for a return flight. We recommend to book your flight early as prices will go up. There are regular trains connecting Faro with the town closest to our venue. The train ride takes ca 90 minutes and costs about 8€. Once you booked a ticket we will share the exact location with you and you will receive instructions how to get there. What to bring? ⛺️ - your own tent, warm sleeping bag, iso mattress if you choose the camping option - a yoga mat - comfortable clothes in which you can move - some warm pullovers and jackets, socks and shoes for cool nights - your most beautiful ceremonial dress - a water bottle that you can fill up for free in the kitchen so you stay hydrated throughout the retreat - if you play an instrument and would like to share some music with the group definitely bring it! There will be a (judgement free!) space for jamming and we encourage everyone to play and co-create regardless of how professional you are. Telegram Group 💌 We will create a Telegram group for participants for ride shares from and to Faro airport and for those who wish to book a room in the neighborhood or next town to help arrange flat shares. Weather 🌤️ Algarve is the most Southern part of Portugal and has the best climate and temperatures of the country. In November it is often still warm enough for sunbathing and swimming in the sea. However, the nights can get quite cool, so make sure to bring warm clothes and camping gear if you chose the camping option or make sure to catch one of the spots in the shared yurts or the tiny house which contain an oven for heating. It is also possible to sleep in the common workshop room which will be heated as well. In case of rain the workshops and dances will take place in a dome which is protected from the rain. However, please be aware that this is not a luxury retreat. If you need more comfort and privacy we recommend to book the tiny house or a room nearby. In the unlikely event of a cancellation from our side due to another lockdown we will refund you the retreat ticket minus a small processing fee. We cannot refund your flight tickets. If you cancel yourself this is your own responsibility and we will not refund you. You have however the possibility to sell your ticket and we will change the name for you. If we have to cancel due to unforeseeable higher power (weather catastrophes, war, etc) unfortunately we cannot offer a refund. Love you and looking forward to (re-)unite! ❤️🐒
