June 17th - 2022 - Liaison Room You’re invited to the newest bi-monthly event at the Liaison Room co-created by Nah Mean? & Sylo - BODY LANGUAGE 🌀 Body Language (n.) - the process of communicating nonverbally through conscious or unconscious gestures and movements. The concept is simple, think ecstatic dance meets club night with 4 basic agreements: 1) No Phones on the dance floor 2) Keep talking on the dance floor to a minimum (Body Language!) 3) No drinks on the dance floor 4) Engaging with another person or group on the dance floor requires verbal or non-verbal consent We believe movement is medicine and the goal of the event is to create a safe, intentional dance floor where everyone who attends can connect to the medicine & express themselves freely. In addition to the agreements there will be 3 movement facilitators present, igniting movement & ensuring that the agreements of the dance floor are being honored. Sounds will range from earthy downtempo to heady high energy pumping house drawing inspiration from cultures from around the world.
