Welcome to the Body2Body mini festival! Let's bring PLAY and DANCE and ALIVENESS back into our lives. 🙂 //Studio239, Prinsengracht 239, Amsterdam //Saturday October 28th 9.30 - 18.00 //Sunday October 29th 9.30 - 16.00 Registration : [email protected] //Invitation// Virgil Spier, Elena Zanchetta and Thijs Mullink invite you to a co-creation based on our deeply felt joy to share dance, play and our aliveness. //Program// Saturday morning - We will start with a celebratory ceremony to arrive in our bodies and the space. Thijs will guide us through simple and magical practices to weave our individual bodies into a community of dancers and movers. (Includes Bodywork, Mindfulness and Contact Improvisation) Saturday afternoon - Elena will introduce us to Playfight and mix it with elements of Contact Improvisation. What does it mean to be centered in connection? How to bring myself fully into play and invite the other to do the same? She will invite us to play with dualities like intensity and sensitivity, strength and gentleness. (Includes Playfight, Contact Improvisation, Group sharing) Sunday morning -After the opening ceremony and landing together in the space Thijs will facilitate a slow Jam/dance space to integrate what we learned. (Includes 1on1 reflection and sharing) Sunday afternoon - Virgil will guide us deeper into the crossroads of Playfight and Contact Improvisation, working with concepts like Moving With and Moving Against. What is the landscape of the Body2Body coordination? It will be an intense session which will deepen our knowledge and experience of what we are capable of! (Includes Playfight, Contact Improvisation, Free play) //For whom// movers, dancers, therapists, martial artists, body workers, play fighters, tango dancers, teachers, office workers //Level// This workshop is for beginners and advanced practitioners.
