Bodywork into Jam How can bodywork principles deepen and empower dance? We will begin with a 1.5-hour guided bodywork session, focusing on touch, weight exchange, breath, and observing the body to cultivate sensitivity, trust, and connection. This embodied awareness will seamlessly transition into a jam, allowing participants to integrate bodywork insights into movement exploration. Deeply engaged in Contact Improvisation since 2018, she has studied and performed across multiple countries, enriching her global perspective. As a member of the Embodied Education research group, she examines the intersection of visual and performing arts. She teaches CI, contemporary dance, and Contakids, fostering inclusive and creative movement spaces, and is also a Thai massage practitioner. Born in Naples, her diverse background in sports and dance informs her holistic approach to movement and education. Alessandro Rivellino My name is Alessandro Rivellino, to recognize myself as this name would be too limiting or not enough. I will be in the role of teaching, so I know that I have a response ability to share and hold space for others to learn. I am devoting my life to C.I. and I passed from professional dancer to lover of moving and being present. I believe in what I do, which means that I do something inspired by something else with no name for it. You are welcome, as you are, with whatever is happening in what you could call yourself, today.
