Our favorite band from the 'Burgh will be back with us for another fun-filled night of hot jazz and swing! To quote The Washington Post, Whether you're looking for hot jazz, ragtime, boogie-woogie or dreamy ballads, The Boilermaker Jazz Band plays some of the best dance music you'll hear without cranking up a 78 RPM record player. The group's attention to detail and finely honed sound have made it a favorite of local Lindy Hoppers. Free drop-in beginner lesson by Flying Feet Enterprises at 8, and dance goes to midnight! (Or later if you stay for Late Night!) $20, or $15 students, or get with Bigg Al (Alvar) to volunteer an hour and get in free.
