Boleos! at Bienvenida Milonga

Festive boleos add zip, flair, artistry, and direction-changes to our tango. What better place to explore big boleos than the spacious, cool dance floor at the Ukrainian Restaurant's private ballroom? We'll also learn how to dance them in more compact shapes as the floor fills up with dancers. Front and back boleos change the direction of the follower's next step, so we'll delve into where they fit into the structure of tango patterns, some different ways to lead them, different options for shaping them with style, and, if you want, a couple of stylish places a leader can also dance a boleo.
