In February, we welcome our dear friend, Ryan Calloway, leading his band, The Silver Bell Jazz Band. Silver Bell Jazz Band delivers high-energy, historically rooted early jazz, drawing from ragtime, New Orleans hot jazz, blues, and swing traditions of the early 1900s. Led by multi-instrumentalist and bandleader Ryan Calloway, the group is known for tight ensemble playing, expressive soloing, and a deep connection to social dance culture. Rooted in the Bay Area’s vibrant swing and traditional jazz scene, Silver Bell Jazz Band performs for festivals, dances, concerts, and private events, bringing an infectious rhythmic drive that keeps dancers moving and listeners engaged. The band’s performances balance careful historical inspiration with fresh, living interpretations, creating music that feels both authentic and immediate.
