Boston Weekender w Carlos Cinta

After much planning, FINALLY I am bringing Carlos Cinta to Boston for a weekend full of dancing, learning, and of course Bachata! The whole event will take place at Muevelo Dance Studio in Malden. On Friday, July 13th, we will be kicking off the weekend with J&L's Underground Social. Carlos will be teaching an Island Movement Teaser Class from 9-9:30pm. The social will then run from 9:30-midnight. Carlos will be playing some of his favorite songs throughout the night. Social is $8. Pay at the door. *** Note*** Friday Social is open to workshop attendees and J&L students ONLY. On Saturday, July 14th, Carlos will be teaching 3 workshops: 12-1pm- Bachata Musicality Part 1 1:15-2:15pm- Bachata Musicality Part 2 2:30-3:30pm- Island Movement Workshop Prices: $22 for a single workshop $40 for two workshops $65 for a full pass (3 workshops & social) A bit about Carlos: Carlos Cinta "El Cirujano de la Bachata" is a world renowned Caribbean/Dominican Bachata expert and educator. Carlos has taught at many international festivals and events around the world. His first YouTube video attracted over 8 million hits! Because of his carefree, lighthearted and fun attitude towards dancing, people are ultimately drawn to his Bachata style and his teaching methods. Carlos is kown for his unique teaching ability and "Bachata Musicality" Music Courses and has shared his passion of Caribbean Style Bachata to sold-out workshops at festivals all over the world. Carlos Cinta was born in San Francisco. He was raised in Chicago. Although Carlos’ first experiences of Bachata were not particularly pleasing, it was only after attending a club in Chicago and seeing Bachata danced with sensuality, passion and sexy moves that he truly fell in love with it. In 2010 Carlos collaborated with Joan Soriano, the world-renowned bachata artist and guitarist from the Dominican Republic, to create the first-ever Bachata musicality and timing CD and DVD.
