Hey Brisbane! You asked so we are coming! Learn some of the most popular dances of this Summer in this workshop of 2 hours of Brazilian dance heaven. WHO IS THIS FOR: Anyone who is interested in Brazilian dance Anyone who wants to learn the swing of Brazil Anyone who learns Samba no Pe and wants to deepen their popular cultural knowledge Anyone who is going to the Brisbane Caranaval Anyone who wants to learn how to move their hips Anyone who needs more radiance and glow in their lives Anyone who is having trouble with motivation, inspiration or creative activation (moving your hips will fix this!!) Anyone who just wants to have a really really good time for 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon. WHAT TO EXPECT: Be introduced to the movements of Axé and Brazilian Funk, Have steps broken down into digestable mvmts to actually be able to do the movements Learn the top popular choreographies/sequences to the 'Hits do Verao' (summer hits) that are played at every Brazilian party! To have a HUGE smile on your face Make a few new friends Feel like you are at a party! WHAT TO BRING: Your beautiful self in clothing that you can move in. Nothing tight please. You want to feel your bum jiggle/wiggle/move! Flat shoes/sneakers. Shoes are optional. We want you to feel comfortable. A water bottle & a gym towel. You are going to sweat. That is a given. BOOKING & ARRIVAL INFO: Pre booking is essential as we have limited spots. If you rock up on the day without prebooking we can not guarentee there will be space in the class for you. Workshop will start right on 2:45pm and finish at 4:45pm. We need to be out of the space by 5pm so all chats and catchups can be done outside the studio after class.
