Brazilian Zouk

Brazilian zouk workshop with Gabriela and Lunna Gomes (both From Brazil) We will share foundations of some of the Brazilian dance styles that gave birth to what we call zouk today, zooming in the applications of the techniques that will increase leading and flowing. We’ll use Forró, Samba and Bolero to better understand the guidelines for a comfortable and playful Zouk dance. Another part of this workshop will be the development of a FUN coreo, integrating all the techniques that we know to become creative with our flow and musicality in connection with our partner. She has been researching different dance styles (partner dance, contemporary, urban and classic dances) for more than 10 years and has found meaning in merging all those different styles. But also, zouk stands in her focus and it’s the fertile ground where she most likes to plant that connections in between styles. For her, fluidity and creativity is effortless.
