Brazilian Zouk FUNdamentals: 4-Week Series

Zouk Mia Dance Academy has established residency in Orlando, and we are excited to create a thriving Brazilian Zouk community! If you are new to this beautiful dance, or are looking to perfect your fundamentals, this is the perfect place to start. In this 4-week Series you will begin your journey to build a strong foundation in Brazilian Zouk. We recommend completing this series each month - as you become more advanced in your knowledge of Brazilian Zouk, you will learn something different from these fundamentals each time you complete the course. As our Orlando Zoukers grow, so will the Zouk Mia Orlando program. Higher levels will be added! Level 1 is from 7-8 pm Level 2 is from 8-9 pm (for those who have successfully completed Level 1) SCHEDULE Wednesday, Feb 13 from 7-9 pm (Week 1): Brazilian Zouk Basics, Frame, and Footwork Saturday, Feb 23 from 2-4 pm* (Week 2): Fundamental Zouk Patterns, and Partnerwork Techniques *Due to a previous studio rental, Week 2 class will be on Saturday, Feb 23rd at 2:00PM* Wednesday, Feb 27 from 7-9 pm (Week 3: Fundamental Zouk Partnerwork Techniques and Styling Wednesday, Mar 6 from 7-9 pm (Week 4): Review, Drill, Evaluations At the end of this course, your instructor will let you know if you are ready to move into the Fundamental Variations class (Level 2)!
