Brazilian Zouk Lambada - Teacher Training

ZenZouk will be holding its first teaching training in Brazilian Zouk Lambada in Atlantic City this July from the 6th - 9th. Training in Brazilian Zouk Fundamentals Level 1 will start you on your journey to begin teaching Brazilian Zouk. It is the first of the modules to become a comprehensive certified teacher should you decide to advance through the levels/modules and supplemental training. The primary purpose of the training is to grow the Brazilian Zouk Lambada scene in the United States by providing tools/techniques/methods for those wishing to take the teacher training course. Prerequisistes include: - Must have 1.5 years of experience dancing Zouk or - Must have experience teaching partner dancing (1.5 years) Who should take this course? This course is designed for several audiences: - Community leaders who wish to develop or lead a Brazilian Zouk Lambada scene that does not currently have a professional Brazilian Zouk lambada instructor. -Current teachers of any style of dance who are interested in gaining knowledge of techniques and concepts of Brazilian Zouk Lambada that may later be used to become a future teacher -Intermediate or Advanced dancers wishing to understand fundamentals to prepare them for LVL 2 Brazilian Zouk (traditional) or LVL 2 LambaZouk What does the teacher training program come with: -10-12 Hours of 2 Days of Fundamental Training, reviewing basics, concepts, rules, steps, and technique. -A Manual that will contain movement exercises to aid the teaching of Brazilian Zouk Lambada, class structure, a syllabus, and all material that will be covered in class. -A Playlist of music ready for you to begin teaching BZL Additional 10 Hours of Workshops both Saturday and Sunday at no additional cost. -A community of people waiting to share and support you in your journey of teaching Zouk. -A Certificate of Completion for Fundamentals training mailed to you after the training has been completed. -The opportunity to continue in the ZenZouk Comprehensive Teacher Training Program for full certification. This course will be require to advance into either Brazilian Zouk (tradicional) Level 2 or LambaZouk level 2 Workstudy and Test outs will be required to advance into the next levels.
