Brazilian Zouk Mondays with Bruno & Raiza!

🔊 For the first time ever, Zouk Phoenix is bringing Bruno & Raiza from Brazil for a 4 month residency! They will be sharing all their knowledge from their signature BRiCK Dance Academy - a world renowned Zouk methodology that has been taught in over 40 countries. Every week they will be with us for classes on Mondays (Foundations and Variations) & Wednesdays (Level 2 & 3 Intermediate) and dancing at socials and special events! 🙌 🐦‍🔥Starting Monday February 2nd, we will start their 6 week immersion course for Modules A & B. For the best experience, joining for all 6 weeks is ideal to learn the complete program. The complete Modules A & B are 12 weeks total, split into two 6 week courses. This will replace our normal monthly classes, so we will now have 2 rounds of 6 week courses at 7pm & 8:20pm. Here's the new format for all the classes being offered Monday Nights: 🔷Brazilian Zouk Foundations Course (Module A) - 6 Week Course at 7:00-8:20pm - Foundations Module A - is for those starting off your Brazilian Zouk journey, or less than 5 months experience dancing Zouk. Its all about building solid technique, mastering essential Zouk movements, and gaining confidence on the dance floor in a fun and effective way. Over 6 weeks you will be able to comfortably connect these foundational movements and dance all night at a social! 🔷Brazilian Zouk Plus Course (Module B) 6 Week Course at 8:20-9:45pm - Zouk Plus Module B - is designed for dancers who already have 5+ months of Brazilian Zouk experience, or who have already tested into our regular Zouk Plus classes. This 6 week course is all about deepening your understanding of traveling movements, body mechanics/isolations, and creating a flow for all of your Foundations. By the end of the course you will be able to apply the BRiCK (Bruno & Raiza methodology) techniques and movements to your dance! This course will also prepare you for the more advanced courses in March & April - Modules C&D and the BRiCK Improvement Course April 29 - May 3rd. To join the Zouk Plus course you can audition to be approved by Bruno & Raiza on Jan 31st - at Progress Checks, or you can schedule an audition with Elijah or Elena before Feb 1st.
