Hello everyone! We offer Brazilianzouk Classes every Wednesday of every month. Come and learn with Tirso, an international dance instructor who has travel around the world sharing his passion for dance! Whether you dance, Salsa, Bachata Kizomba, Samba, Ballroom style dances, Tirso Will have something special to share with you! All classes are progressive to make sure everyone learns something new! 1st Class 8:30pm - 9:30pm Foundations: Learn all basic steps and the difference between traveling basics and in place basics footwork. Learn how to spin, turn, style your dancing, basic connection between couples, social dancing etiquette, posture, counterbalance, isolations, basic combination not longer than 3 eight counts. 2nd Class Body & Music exploration: In the exploration level, we start to break apart the basic footwork and concepts learnt in the foundation class, and start to dive into the world of more complex isolations, multiple spins, proper timing, how to structure a combination with a beginning, middle part, and a successful ending. We'll dive into direction sense on the dance floor, purpose of social dancing, how to be more empathetic to each other and learn to listen. The exploration level is for those who have learn their basics and are ready to start to learn head movement. If you have been taking my foundation's class, you're more than welcomed to join the exploration class, otherwise you're more than welcomed to take the foundation class and jump into the exploration level class. Breakdown of classes: - Warm up, 5 minutes of class - Basic drills, 10 minutes (Frente atraía, lateral, diagonal, in place, basic inside and outside turns, type of drill may change depending on attendees) - Combination of the day, 20 minutes (It may include boneca or rag doll technique, with and or without head movement, combination will be tailored to proper level, no more than 3 counts for experienced foundation students and no more than 7 counts for exploration level students). - Feelings application - Practice 15 minutes We will start promptly at 8:30pm and 9:30pm.
