Brazilian Zouk Weekender w/ Pat Géa & Gabs Sena - 15th - 16th August 2026✨ - 6 hours of workshops - 1 hour of practice - 3 hours of social Join us for 6 hours of workshops + practice + social with renowned Brazilian Zouk dancers Pat Géa and Gabs Sena visiting us from Brazil for the fourth year in a row. ✨ 𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 𝒇𝒐𝒓? ✨ This workshop is for dancers who want to feel more musical and expressive in their dancing, learning how to apply musicality to basic footwork and head movements while exploring new possibilities in the embrace and traveling movements. You should already be able to execute the basic steps and the main Zouk movements. Previous knowledge of head movements is usefull but not mandatory. We´ll adjust the teaching accordingly, so that the practice is meaningfull and safe for all levels. ✨ 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒆 ✨ SATURDAY -13:00 – 14:30 | Travelling connection A class focused on exploring traveling movements with greater comfort, lightness, and presence in connection. We’ll work on elasticity in the embrace, timing awareness, and ways to create smoother movement while maintaining clear communication between leader and follower. - 15:00 - 16:30 | Playfulness and Co-Creation How to turn technique into freedom. In this class, we’ll explore creativity, body awareness, musicality, and co-creation tools to develop a more spontaneous, playful, and expressive dance. -16:30 – 17:30 | Practice (only for those who took the classes). SUNDAY - 13:00 – 14:30 | Travelling head movements Expanding on the concepts of flow and comfort, we’ll explore different possibilities for head movement during traveling patterns, aiming for natural integration with the body and greater freedom of expression in dance. - 15:00 – 16:30 | Musicality and Dynamics A class to connect everything developed throughout the weekend.
