Brazilian Zouk with ALÝSSA

Over five progressive workshops we’ll build everything you need to confidently begin dancing Brazilian Zouk. This will include 90 minutes of instruction followed by 30 minutes of social dancing. You’ll learn: * The essential foundations of Brazilian Zouk * Partner connection that feels natural, safe, and enjoyable * How to lead and follow through comfortable communication * Styling and expressive movement for both roles * Head movement foundations and safety * Musicality and dancing with the music * Body awareness and posture * How to dance in close connection while feeling relaxed, comfortable, and secure * Nervous system regulation through breath, movement, and partner connection * Social dance etiquette so you feel confident joining future socials and events Each class builds upon the previous one, giving you a complete introduction to one of the fastest-growing partner dances in the world. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign-in and warm up. No partner required.
