Join us on Saturday, June 6 for a special afternoon workshop with a deep dive into how we move and connect in Brazilian zouk. SATURDAY, JUNE 6 Brazilian Zouk Workshop: Touch, Tone and Intention w/ Lunna Glen Echo Park Hall of Mirrors 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Workshop Brazilian Zouk is a dance rooted in connection, communication, and adaptability — a conversation built through touch, body awareness, musicality, and shared movement. In this workshop, we’ll explore how the quality of touch shapes the way we communicate and connect through dance. Using concepts of touch, tone, responsiveness, and intention, we’ll play with different textures of connection. Rather than focusing on patterns, this class invites dancers to deepen their awareness of how they are leading, following, listening, and responding. Through guided exercises and partner work, we’ll explore ways to create dances that feel more present, dynamic, and alive. Your ticket for this workshop also includes our evening class and social at Glen Echo.
