This year, we are very excited to add one of the most requested features to our event: ** Intensive Bootcamps ** We are having 2 offerings this year: --> Gui and Brenda: Saturday Feb 11th, 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm --> Marck & Melyssa: Sunday Feb 12th, 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm >> What am I going to learn in **Brenda & Gui’s Connecting, Ground, Walking and Travelling** ?? << If you’re a fan of crisp, precise, and controlled weight transfers, travelling footwork, and walking together through the fundamentals of Brazilian Zouk without effort, this is the right place for you. In this bootcamp, legs and feet will be the focus. Brenda & Gui will share a combination of techniques to help you improve the most foundational aspect of dance: weight transfers. By the end of this bootcamp, we’ll have a set of tools and ideas to bring fun, musicality, control, and complex simplicity into your dance. This course is aimed for challenge and growth, so please make sure to check if you meet the minimum requirements below. >> How do I qualify? (Pre-requisites) << ** Minimum qualification to attend ** --> BZDC Jack and Jill Advanced, Intermediate levels or at least one Novice point. --> If you don’t have any of the above, you will be required to send a video that shows: --> Intermediate/Advanced Level of social dancing in Brazilian Zouk --> High proficiency in the foundation techniques and fundamental moves of Brazilian Zouk --> Reasonable understanding and comfortable execution of Head Movement techniques --> 3 minutes of continuous social dancing --> Video must show the full body >> What are the costs and benefits? << --> 3 hours of intensive training capped at 20 couples --> Minimum level requirement to ensure high results --> Individual attention and feedback --> Must already have a confirmed Full Pass for BraZouky AUS 2023 $75 for attendees who complete EOI by Jan 29th $90 for late enrolments >> How to enrol? << --> Complete Expression of Interest form. Must be completed by Jan 29th for lower cost. --> Please fill in the google forms in the link below with your details. Within the google form, please ensure to fulfil pre-requisite requirements (BZDC level/points or Video Submission) https://forms.gle/DZYRVVUNjFL5Eyy4A --> Once you have sent out your EOI, it will be under review and we will get back to you after Jan 29th. --> After Jan 29th, we will send the details for your enrollment (if approved), a waitlist status or an unsuccessful status. --> For those approved, you will need to complete your enrollment payment. Then we will send you a final confirmation that you have successfully completed this process and the details on how to join the class. >> What if you can’t attend anymore? << No refunds will be issued for the Brazilian Zouk Intensive Courses Transfers are allowed until Feb 6th, and it will incur a $20 administrative fee Confirmed attendee must find a suitable replacement themselves and coordinate the ticket transfer. Transfer may only be completed if the replacement is approved. If not approved, another replacement must be found before Feb 6th.
