INTRODUCTION TO SALSA CLASS (FULL CLASS) - This full class session have been opened to the community, to give anyone interested in learning Salsa to come try for FREE! - Learn the salsa basics for free with no pressure to stay on to do the pay lesson. - Once you have learnt the main basics , we will partner you up and show both ladies and men how to dance their steps together, with the men how to lead and the ladies how to follow. - By the end of the 6.30PM Free session, you will already be able to dance salsa! This free class is open to anyone wishing to give salsa a try with: * Easy to follow, step by step breakdown of the main basics * Learn at your own pace * Come as often as you like to make your basics strong * No pressure to stay on to do any of the pay lessons * No partner or dance experience required! * All welcome - bring your friends & enjoy a fun night of learning to Salsa! AFTER THE FREE CLASS? If you enjoyed the Free class & wish to take your dancing to the next level, the Free class is followed by the main Cuban Salsa Beginner class (Beginner to improver level). BRUNSWICK WEDNESDAY NEW 2026 PROGRAM: * 6.30PM - FREE INTRODUCTION TO SALSA BASICS - GET STARTED WITH LEARNING THE SALSA BASICS! - INTERVAL - Main Beginner Lesson Registration & Dance practice ** 7.30PM - 8.30PM BEGINNER CUBAN SALSA (Main class) Cuban Salsa (Beginner to Improver Level) - ALL students joining this part of the Beginner class are expected to know their Salsa basic steps Total Beginner Class (incl. free session): 1 hour & 30 Minutes --------------------- ** From 8.30PM ONWARDS ** NEW SHARED TIMESLOT - Now with Bachata added to the monthly program NEW SHARED PROGRAM: CUBAN SALSA & RUEDA ONLY NIGHTS PROGRAM TIME: ** 8.30PM – 10.00PM 1.5HR INTERMEDIATE CUBAN SALSA (Main class – * 1.5 hour Class) (Cuban Salsa/Rueda De Casino) * CUBAN SALSA & RUEDA ONLY WEEKS: - On 1ST and 3RD WEEK of every 4 week MONTH - - On 5 week months, we have Cuban Salsa & Rueda on the 1ST, 3RD and 4TH WEEKS when there are 5 week months. * On these weeks, we have a 1.5HR INTERMEDIATE CUBAN SALSA CLASS * THERE ARE NO BACHATA ON THESE WEEKS * Ideal for students who are confident with their Beginner Salsa steps and turns. This level will elevate your dancing to the next level. This level will also extend your salsa dancing skills with more complex partner patterns and improvised footwork. ============================== BACHATA & CUBAN SALSA/RUEDA NIGHTS PROGRAM TIME: ** 8.30PM – 9.30PM BACHATA (Beginner to Improver) followed by *** 9.30PM – 10.30PM INTERMEDIATE CUBAN SALSA & RUEDA DE CASINO (* Normal 1 hour class) * Bachata and Cuban Salsa & Rueda classes are held ON every 2ND WEEK & LAST WEEK OF EVERY MONTH - * On 5 week months - the Bachata & Cuban Salsa/Rueda will remain the same, ON every 2ND WEEK & LAST WEEK OF EVERY MONTH - ============================== WHAT IS RUEDA DE CASSINO? Rueda De Casino, also called just ‘Rueda’, in it’s basic form means ‘Casino wheel’, where dance couples comes together to form a circle, with one main ‘caller’, who calls out the names of different Cuban Salsa figures made up of different sequences of fun dance moves, which are danced by the couples in synchronisation. As the level of the dancers improve, so does the figures performed become more elaborate and complicated, and with a constant change of partner calls, make the dance fun and exciting for the dancers, as well as spectators who view the dance. These figures are used when dancing individually with a partner on the dancefloor. * Please note: Class times may run a little later due to registration delays on busy nights and heavy traffic delays. CLASS COST: On Bachata & Cuban Salsa/Rueda nights:- Cuban Salsa Beginner class - $20 per class Bachata Class - $20 per class * Any 2 1hour main Classes - $30 * Do all 3 main 1 hour classes - Only $35 On Cuban Salsa & Rueda only nights: - Cuban Salsa Beginner class - $20 per class - Cuban Salsa & Rueda Intermediate (1.5hr class) - $25 per class * All classes on the night - only $35 PAYMENT: CASH preferred EFTPOS (Visa or Mastercard) now accepted * Please note – there is a 1.9% surcharge when using Visa or Mastercard * Please note: We do not accept American Express or Diners cards CLOTHING & SHOES: Comfortable casual clothing. Best shoes are low or flat smooth sole shoes when starting, like leather sole shoes. Avoid sandals, open toe shoes. Avoid high heels when starting to avoid injury Avoid track shoes or runners as these grip the floor and can interfere with your movement and turns MEDICAL: Anyone with breathing problems, heart conditions, knee, back or shoulder injuries and who are taking prescribed medication, please consult with your doctor first before joining any classes.
