BRUX 2016 - Brussels' 3rd Lindy Exchange

The BRUX is reconvening for its third edition from November 11 to 13. It will be #grander, #longer and #crazier than ever before! To join us for three days of convivial and vivacious swing dancing to the rhythm of the bustling city that is Brussels, get your pass at http://www.thebrux.be/registration (from Sunday 1 May, 6pm). PROGRAMME We'll kick off the celebrations on Friday night to the sound of Reverent Juke, a Brussels-based band with a repertoire specially made for swing dancers! We’ll finish at 3am, leaving you enough time to get your energy levels up before our Saturday daytime fun kicks off - notably with a tour of the Brasserie Cantillon, and other surprises to discover the city, and your fellow dancers, in a high-spirited atmosphere. Saturday night, we’ll dance until we can bounce no more to the tunes of the acclaimed The Hop Sh Bam Connection and an amazing selection of DJs, until 5am. The next day, we’ll be presenting you with a selection of chill activities including a vintage dip in one of Brussels’ glorious swimming pool, to recover ahead of our Sunday afternoon tea dance with the New Orleans Night Owls. Because we know some of you still won’t have had enough, we promise an extra party on Sunday night! VENUE This year, complete change of venues. The main venue will the “Salle des Guichets” (the ticketing hall) of the BIP on Place Royale. Built in 1775, the building is located in the historical centre of Brussels, and has preserved its elegance and prestige. Most importantly, the room’s wooden floor will no doubt make countless lindy hoppers happy. For those of you new to Brussels, the venue is also just a stone throw away from the Royal Palace of Brussels, the Magritte Museum, the centre for fine arts BOZAR, etc. PASSES For 78€, get the full pass for access to all parties (83€ from September 15). For 48€, get the Friday & Sunday party pass, or the Saturday & Sunday party pass (53€ from September 15). Act fast! The number of party passes is limited.
