Buttonwood Friday Night Milonga - Tonight!

There WILL be a milonga here at Buttonwood Studio, but the street is partially blocked for some road work at the 13th street end of the block. Early arrivees can drive through the cones to find parking on Buttonwood Street. You need to drive westbound/the wrong way on the one-way street to leave. Which is allowed under the circumstances! But, please do try to park on neighboring streets tonight! Hoping that you can all still make it for a night of tango dancing with your tango friends and family. We have a welcoming space, with an extraordinary dance floor. There will of course be wonderful music, great company, great dancing! I will be DJ'ing a mix of traditional and alternative tango music. This Friday from 8 PM-1 AM, 8-9 PM: All-level tango lesson. 9 PM-1 AM: Dancing General entry fee: $20. Full time students: $10. Please RSVP online here on FB (or via email: [email protected]). Proof of vaccination required. Masks are strongly encouraged, but not required. If you haven't done it already, please upload a copy of your vaccination card to my secure Dropbox link, found in the comments, to facilitate logistics at the door. Event space is well ventilated, and there will be 5 HEPA filter air purifiers running continuously during the events.
