So on a beautiful Sunday evening, let's shake the Etch-a-Sketch of our lives by getting out of our heads and into the pure knowing of our bodies, sharing in the wordless realms that heal us, activate us, and fill us with wonder. >> This Deep Dive will be guided by the gentle heart-opening plant medicine of cacao, and inspired by delicious global beats to take you deeper within yourself and into your shared experience. Together we will craft a space that nurtures the subtle magic of connection with our glorious tribe, evoking your flow, your expression, and your overflowing gratitude for this wondrous life. Your own willingness to stretch the edges of your senses, to connect, share and move will take us all further into the unknown.. After a ceremonial dose of organic Guatemalan cacao, we will dive into meditation, live music and connective experiments before an ecstatic dance set by Yemanjo. This is single origin cacao from Finca El Porvenir en Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. An off-the-grid farm contributing to reforestation and propagating near-extinct strains of heirloom cacao, Finca el Porvenir directly benefits local Guatemalan families and ecosystems. TIMELINE >Arrival at 5pm for stretching and dropping in. Sooo delighted to have ALEKSANDRA opening the space at 5pm with her beautiful soul sounds! She will be looping live vocals and mantras to evoke the heart space and set the energetic container for the evening. >Deep Dive begins promptly at 6pm >Ecstatic Dance set, snuggles and hot tubbing until 11pm :) LOGISTICS > Wear something that lets your movement be free > Bring a towel for the hot tub! > An array of scrumptious and nourishing snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring something to share. > Plan to have a late afternoon meal but try to not eat between 4-6pm, so the cacao can work on you most fully. Ben Harris is a DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist performing under the name Yemanjo since 2015. His original sound is a mixture of South American shamanic melodies and chants mixed with downtempo beats and other ethnic influences. The message of Yemanjo's music is one of healing and re-harmonization with nature, self and community. Harris has been a spaceholder for cacao ceremony since 2015 in festivals and private events worldwide including Symbiosis Gathering, Wanderlust Festivals and in his adopted home of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
