Cacao & Ecstatic Dance

THIS WEEKEND! We haven’t danced in a while, and that is UNACCEPTABLE! Join Mateo, owner of @holywowcacao and a fellow community builder both here in Florida, as well as in Guatemala. On Sunday evening he will bless our studio with this special offering of a Cacao inspired ecstatic dance mix. Cacao, Theobroma, food of the Gods, is a powerful heart opening medicine. Not to be confused with the chocolate many of us are familiar with - Cacao is unrefined, minimally processed and RAW. Holy W.O.W (With Out Words) Cacao is organically grown in the rich lands of remote farms in Guatemala. Many of the farms practice permaculture and reforestation efforts, harvesting sustainably and actually building back the land as they do so. Mayan women’s collectives are supported through this reciprocal duty to harvest their indigenous lands, while maintaining their ancient tradition of working with this plant medicine. Theobromine, the main active alkaloid in Cacao, is both a bronchodilator and a vasodilator, increasing blood and oxygen flow. The perfect fuel for dancing, no? Back to our roots! Sophlow Yoga supports eco-conscious and community-conscious businesses through our special events, and our slowly growing shop. Our goal is to offer healthy stress relief to our incredible city of Sebastian! With our tribe members in mind, we offer this evening by love donation. Pay what you can, we suggest $20 is fair to cover a warm delicious beverage prepared with love, a conscious DJ providing an incredible set list, and a beautiful atmosphere to dance in!
