Call out for support Jamsters

Hello again dancing friends... The Sunday jam is needing some extra support in the form of additional jamsters. Are you keen to volunteer? The current jamster team (LeeAnne, Karleigh, Eamonn, Ale and Gina) are looking for some regular Sunday Jam participants that want to support the jam in the role of jamster in an on-going capacity. Hosting the jam can be a very different experience to being a participant and it brings it's own rewards and challenges that can expand your CI practice in surprising ways. If you would like to contribute to supporting the jam and the CI community in this way, please let us know via direct message to Contact Improvisation in Sydney as soon as possible. To support those of you interested, we are hosting a meet/dance/info session next Sunday 24th at 1:15pm (after the jam) At this meeting we will: - discuss the jam guidelines and structure we work to - skills to manage safety in the jam - jamster responsibilities - skills to incorporate visitors or new dancers - tools to guide the jam atmosphere - answer any questions you might have - discuss how we work as a team - share what's in it for you! We aim to have at least two jamsters in the space for each jam, so as a lead in, we would invite you to join one of the current jamster team to host. Looking forward to hearing from you.
