𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 I’m thrilled to announce that one of my all time favourite teachers, Nicolas Cambas from Argentina, is coming to Denmark for the first time as part of his “Play The Game” European tour. He will guide us through the first part of his training process called “Unlearn to Be." It’s hard to describe the profound ritual space Nicolas creates, it needs to be experienced, but his credentials say a little bit about the quality of his work (see below). He has brought his performances and workshops to nearly every corner of the world and this will be his tenth European tour. I had the pleasure of being guided by him during my six weeks yoga teacher training in Ecuador and his were some of the most impactful and inspiring workshops I have ever tried. He doesn’t just speak about his knowledge, but embodies it and it resonates around him, sweeping everyone along into a magical, co-created realm. It is thrilling, joyful and healing. His main tools are playfulness, empathy and intuition. ​Nicolas started this journey dropping out from mainstream at age 21, after having his first shamanic experience and becoming a nomadic clown for 7 years in Latin America. He performed for a living in streets, markets, buses, everywhere. This connected him deeply with the hidden energy behind the “Fool path” or trickster archetype, bringing him to go in depth with the magical world of Andean-Amazonean Shamanism, receiving initiations, exploring rituals, musical roots and cosmovisions with several native american communities. He has performed in festivals, held workshops and created retreats all over the world and this will be his tenth European tour. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 Step 1. Unlearn to Be. ​ This workshop consists in unfolding extra-ordinary collective states through a balanced mixture of radical playfulness and subtle awareness, opening the way to inhabiting the creative level of existence: life as a creative process. “Unlearn to Be” combines ancestral knowledge from non-western cultures with creative frames coming from body-based contemporary expressive arts. It’s an exercise of letting go of what we (think we) know so that we can authentically Be, in relationship to ourselves and the others. The psychological and shamanic background is based in the recognition and awakening of the trickster archetype, a deep aspect of the human psyche celebrated as a sacred mixture of light and shadow in shamanic cultures and historically repressed in western society. This archetype has the power to subvert the established order of things enabling creativity and transformation for an evolutive purpose. The structure of the workshop combines practical and intellectual content, directed to detect, understand and transform the collectively inherited programs and unacknowledged traumas that unconsciously run our lives; into a more enjoyable, powerful and pristine version of ourselves as individuals and as a collective.
