During this workshop, you will be invited to first tune into yourself, your body and sensations and then meet others in a non-traditional and heart-centered way. What is Tantra? For us, Tantra is the total experience of life, multi-dimensional human life! Of course, sex and sexuality are a part of life, we wouldn't be here without it. But it is not the main focus of our work. The focus of Ecotantra is deepening our connection to the Heart! During this workshop, you will be invited to slow down and bring your awareness back into the present, back to your body and felt sense and to simple, yet, precious moments. Creating a safe and respectful space, this event uses simple exercises aimed at strengthening our ability to connect to one another and to become more comfortable with honesty and vulnerability. What will happen? This Ecotantra in the City event invites you to learn to feel and honour your own boundaries so that you can meet others in a deeper trust and openness. You'll be invited to explore your unique expression of being a man or woman, including your natural desires, excitement, fears, innocence, playfulness, sensuality and sexuality – all that it means to be fully alive as a man or woman. Throughout the workshop, there is a focus on: - developing our sensitivity to ourselves and what we are experiencing - allowing ourselves to be, and to be seen - developing love and acceptance for ourselves - becoming aware of the ways we shut down Workshop information: Date: Saturday, March 21st (Spring Equinox!) Time: 5:45 pm - 7:45 pm (Before Ecstatic Dance London's Ecstatic Saturday's!) Workshop fees: £15 super early bird, £20 Regular price PLEASE NOTE: Pay £5 extra and stay on for Ecstatic Dance London Conscious Clubbing Ecstatic Saturdays from 7.45pm-10.15pm (Ecstatic Dance + Cacao + Sound journey). About your facilitator: Seth Newman As the founder of the URUBU School of Transformational Arts, he integrates the roots of Humanistic therapies, Bioenergetics & Body Psychotherapy, Transpersonal Psychology and Tantra in creative and life-transforming workshops, retreats and trainings. His studies in the therapeutic use of the arts (IATE), Reichian body psychotherapy, Bioenergetics and somatic movement infuse his approach to living a creative, holistic & embodied life. Seth is also graduate of a number of Heart & Sexuality focused Tantra trainings including: Jewels Wingfield’s 1 year “Deep Diving” and Jan Day’s 18-month “Living Tantra” training and is endorsed by Jan to teach. He has trained with and assisted Jan for the last 11 years on numerous Tantra courses and brings his unique approach to this work.
