CANCELLED - The Granada LA presents: LA's Top Dj competition 2016

We are back at it again! The Granada proudly presents LA's Top DJ Competition 2016! This competition is ALL about the music! 16 DJ spots are available! Each competition week, 4 DJs go head to head! The finalists will advance to The Finals where they will battle it out for the title of LA's Top DJ! Rules and Regulations 1. DJ must use their own equipment and plug into the Granada's audio lines via XLR cord connection. If you do not bring your cords, you do not play. 2. DJ can mix any kind of music that is used in a Latin social dancing night club. i.e salsa, bachata, cha cha cha, etc A judge will be present to see how you select songs and control the energy of the crowd that is dancing to your music 3. DJ can use vinyl, laptops, Cds, Ipads, etc. any form of technology so long as the time slot is full 4. Qualifying rounds will consist of four (4) 15 minute rounds in which the crowd and a judge will determine the winner. Winner of the battle will advance to the finals. 5. Finals will feature a panel of judges who are credited in music and the entertainment industry. Judges will follow strict rules of judgement to ensure that competition is judges properly.
