Maybe next year? ♥️ - - - - - Come join us for Wellington's very first Bachata Festival 😊 Bachata is an amazing dance that allows for so many different influences and styles of music and right here in the Capital, we have a fantastic group of bachata teachers. We all thought it would be so much fun to bring everyone together, to celebrate and share this dance we love so much and so the Wellington Weekend was born. From traditional Dominican Bachata to Moderna, Urban and Sensual, you will get to experience it all! THE FESTIVAL: 5 hours of workshops for both workshop levels Major Saturday night party including performances THE TEACHERS: Adam and Lily (Salsa Therapy) Andy and Jess (Salsa Magic) Dario and Luisa (Go Bachata) Julian Zhu (Far East Movement Dance) Mike and Michelle (M&M Bachata) THE DETAILS: We have two workshop levels, each with 5 hours of dedicated workshops spread over Saturday and Sunday: Improvers Level - less than a year’s experience but you know the bachata fundamentals Intermediate Level - you are more experienced with at least a year of bachata dancing and classes ** The Workshop Schedule is posted in the Discussion section. Let us know if you can't find it! ** If you’re uncertain which level is best for you, have a chat to your teachers THE PARTIES: The Saturday party will be at Thistle Hall and it will be a glamorous affair with multiple DJs and performances from our Wellington schools THE TICKETS: Tickets are $70 including all workshops for your level + entry to the Saturday night party ** We only have a few Improver Lead passes available.
