Captain Planet: Road to Unison Ecstatic Dance Special Event

Join Zack & Madeleine, founders of Ecstatic Dance Salt Lake City for one of their all time favorite Producer/DJs of World Music, Headlining Artist at Unison Festival, Captain Planet! Captain Planet is a music producer specializing, you guessed it, in music from around the Planet, he has collaborated with Grammy nominated musicians from around the world, when it comes to World Music, Captain Planet could be said to harness the sonic expression of the World's Soul. Unison Festival, happening just outside Durango Colorado is being hosted by the Co-Founders of Ecstatic Dance Durango, our closest Ecstatic Dance. A festival highlighting some of the best Ecstatic Dance artists anywhere. This Wednesday night is the celebratory kick off and taste of that incredible experience. Ecstatic Dance SLC weaves together world class DJs, immersive sound journeys, and free-form movement. It's a substance-free, community celebration where you can simply be yourself, and experience rejuvenation and inspiration through connection, dance & music. 🌈 Ecstatic Dance Road to Unison Schedule: (Arrive and/or leave anytime!) 6 pm: Yoga 7 pm: Opening Circle 7-9 pm: Ecstatic Dance w/ Captain Planet 9 pm: Closing Music Stay afterward to eat and socialize at a donation-based vegetarian dinner made by the Krishna temple. •Admission is $20, cash or venmo at the door. Tokens are also being accepted! (If finances are keeping you from attending, pls reach out! We have volunteer & trade opportunities available.) Guidelines to set the Ecstatic Dance container: No talking on the dance floor. No phones: photography, video, tech (texting, scrolling, etc.) in the dance room. No street shoes on the dance floor. If you don't wish to dance barefoot, dance shoes are allowed. Clearly consensual partner dancing/touch ONLY. While physical distancing mandates have lifted, please be aware and courteous of varying comfortability and readiness on the part of those around you.
