Special guest Carla Marano. will host the milonga and teach a lesson. Carla studied Tango in Buenos Aires and was an instructor in some of the best Tango schools. She helped transform tango from a popular dance into a highly-sophisticated, deeply-understood art form through many years of penetrating investigation into its movement techniques, technical language and musical interpretation. Carla will teach an all-levels lesson on Technique, Structure, Synchronization and Embrace Functionality applied to Turns with Sacadas of the Leader and Boleo of the Follower. Carla has been a guest instructor in many major international Tango festivals. Kerry Kay will DJ the milonga following the lesson. Kerry’s tandas will get you on the dance floor all night.
