She's been dancing now for more than 20 years, over which time she's not only qualified as an instructor in Ballroom and Latin dance, but also taught, choreographed and inspired a number of amateur dance groups. After moving to the UK, Ula began dancing Cuban Salsa and in 2008 she gained her United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dance (UKA) qualification to teach Salsa.
