Our festival is all about bringing people together and sharing the best of what our diverse and passionate bachata community has to offer with workshops, socials, performances, great people and amazing teachers. The Wellington bachata community is friendly and warm-hearted, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our event. 🔥 THE TEACHERS We will have an awesome selection of teachers for you, covering all styles of bachata from Dominican to Sensual. Our Guest Teachers: ⭐️ Gabriel & Kathleen (Melbourne, Australia) ⭐️ Armando & Cele (Auckland via Peru/Chile and Argentina) ⭐️ Nicho & Gina (Queenstown) Alongside our special guests, we have our amazing team of Wellington teachers from FEM Dance, Go Bachata, Salsa Magic and Salsa Therapy (plus a few other cbc superstars!). 🔥 THE WORKSHOPS We run 2 types of workshops: open workshops in the afternoon and streamed workshops in the morning. Open Workshops: The afternoon sessions are open to all levels and you get to choose what interests you most: Dominican, Moderna or Sensual. Streamed Workshops: The morning sessions are streamed for three different levels - Improver, Intermediate or Advanced - which allows you to work with dancers at your own level in order to maximise your learning.
