We invite you to dress to express! This is our chance to embody something or someone that inspires us, that leaves us feeling creative. This is an opportunity to explore an entirely new version of yourself, and bring it to the dance floor! This conscious ecstatic dance experience is an opportunity to explore all that you are. We come together in community to play with our edges, and maybe even find parts of yourself that you never knew existed. The container invites you to show up fully, every bit of you. Even the parts of you that you deem as unacceptable, too much, or unlovable. ALL PARTS OF YOU ARE WELCOME HERE. So come sing, yell, scream, shake your booty, flirt, smile, cry, frown, bark, practice boundaries, play with teasing, fall in love, lose yourself, come home, find your pleasure, maybe even in the pain, play play play till you feel you can't anymore, and then find your next level. Share yourself, or hide in the crowd. Keep it all for yourself, and then give it all away. Be you. All of you! ************* SCHEDULE 5:30 PM = ARRIVAL Check in, get settled and connected 6-7 PM = WARM-UP Spooky Funky Yoga Dance with Mary of Mishana Yoga. Groove, stretch and breathe to classic Halloween and funk music, and learn moves from the "Thriller" dance! Super fun and playful. Beginners and all bodies welcome. 7-7:30 PM = CEREMONY Honoring the thinning of the veil with local spirit dancers Kelsey Fennimore and Sarah Roberts. We will have a beautiful altar set up. You may bring photos of your ancestors and loved ones who've passed to invite their spirits to join us in remembrance and celebration. 7:30-9 PM = DANCE! Shake it out and get wild with DJ Smiley Face 9-9:30 PM = SOUND HEALING With Faye Adinda and Kyrie One Love 9:30-10 PM = CLOSING CIRCLE Share with hearts open and integrate our experiences. 10-11 PM = BONFIRE Outdoor fireside connection, nourishing snacks, and song circle. You are welcome to bring an instrument to play. ************* LOCATION We'll be gathering in the beautiful barn near the parking lot on Snipes farm and educational center. This is a space rich with history of human rights, sacred honoring of nature, and expression of the arts. This is truly a gift and honor to share space here. It is also home to an organic farm. ************* HEALTH + SAFETY GUIDELINES Choose from three different levels of wristbands: Green = Go ahead, come close. Yellow = Use caution and ask for permission to come close. Red = Please keep 6-foot distance. If you are feeling sick before the event, please honor others and stay home.
