An Interpolation of The Declaration of Independence “The Declaration of Interdepen”dance” We hold our truths to be self evident, that all people in culture and movement are created equal. That we are all endowed with certain rights that among these are life, love and the pursuit of expansion, abundance, celebration and happiness” We gather here to celebrate this July 4th weekend, coming together in one melting pot. As such, we acknowledge to bring forth the practices of those generations and the indigenous people before us, where dance, song and sharing circles was the language of all in nature. This conscious yet individual sovereign ecstatic dance experience is an opportunity to explore all that you are. We come together in community to play with our edges, and maybe even find parts of yourself that you never knew existed. The container invites you to show up fully, every bit of you. Even the parts of you that you deem as unacceptable, too much, or unlovable. ALL PARTS OF YOU ARE WELCOME HERE. So come sing, yell, scream, shake your booty, flirt, smile, cry, frown, bark, practice boundaries, play with teasing, fall in love, lose yourself, come home, find your pleasure, maybe even in the pain, play play play and bang on the drum all day till you feel you can't anymore, and then find your next level. Share yourself, or hide in the crowd. Keep it all for yourself, and then give it all away. Be you. All of you! Bring the heat. Bring the fire!! ************* SCHEDULE 5PM = ARRIVAL Check in, get settled and connected, and have a picnic. 6-7 PM = WARM-UP A practice rooted in Sovereignty with Tiffany Cooper. 7:00 -7:30 PM = CEREMONY Featuring Richie Parrella speaking on Independence and freedom 7:30 -9 PM = DANCE! Magical creations of Dj Nah Mean? 9 - 9:30 PM = SOUND HEALING With Angelic Soundings of Kyrie One Love 9:30-10 PM = CLOSING CIRCLE Around the fire. 10-11PM = Fireside Jam and sharing Share with hearts open and integrate our experiences. ************* COZY SPACE There will be a tent for getting cozy and cuddling, snuggling up with a pillow, practicing consent, and dropping in for relaxation. This is a space to fully let go, have a drink, and explore rest. ************* LOCATION We'll be gathering in the beautiful back field on Snipes farm and educational center. This is a space rich with history of human rights, sacred honoring of nature, and expression of the arts. This is truly a gift and honor to share space here. It is also home to an organic farm. ************* HEALTH + SAFETY GUIDELINES This is a SOBER event. No drinking, smoking, or drugs right before or during this event please. Let’s get high on each other’s love, and cope with stress with hugs and kisses. Consent first, of course! ************** Vendors Excited to share we will have Chai's and Daals with Adnan. He'll be serving up the finest Daal and chai in all the world! Come early and Enjoy a meal before the event or if you get hungry during stop by for a snack!
