Celebrating 30 Years of Tango Colorado - Cheesman Park Milonga

Join us this Sunday for our Biannual Cheesman Park Milonga! TDJ Michael Plaks Pre-Milonga Class with Vanessa Stephan from 5-6 pm at the Pavilion Class & Milonga FREE In the spirit of Celebrating 30 Years of Tango Colorado, we welcome you to dress in cultural, or historical wear for this milonga! We are welcoming a photographer for this event to take pictures of you in the stunning Cheesman Park Pavilion at sunset. * The Floor: Polished stone. It’s slick, but don't bring your finest shoes—standard dance shoes are best. * Seating: We provide 100 chairs, but we expect 150+ guests. To guarantee a spot, bring your own folding chair or be ready to share! * Parking: Extremely limited due to the holiday. Pro tip: Park a few blocks away and Uber, or carpool. * Weather: Be ready for anything! Layers are key for the transition from afternoon sun to cool park breezes especially with the weather thus far. * Amenities: We provide water (bring your own bottle if possible) and private porta-potties with a hand-washing station and lit path. If you’d like an escort to the restrooms, just ask at the DJ booth. * Construction: Be aware of ongoing trail renovations near the Pavilion.
