* WHIRLED:
The physical/intuitive practice I've been developing since 1995 that profoundly enhances my well being and music making. Beth and I will guide the group through simple breath work, visualization, and improvised movement that will directly contribute to the rhythmic and harmonic content of the music I make!
BIOS
Cellist/composer Stephen Katz plays regularly at New England dance jams, has collaborated and performed with Andrew Harwood, Chris Aiken, members of Pilobolus and Beverly Blossom dance companies, and has been a Visiting Artist at Amherst College. He has performed his compositions at Carnegie (Weill) Recital Hall and toured internationally as a soloist and ensemble player. He has been featured on Performance Today/APM national broadcasts, and is a NEA grant recipient.
