Dear friends, Bringing the warmth of summer to the winter season, Sol de Invierno Tango Marathon invites you to a warm chacarera workshop accompanied by our multi talented and beautiful teacher Urszula Ula ❣️ , who will be our guest from Poland. CHACARERA Chacarera is one of the most popular Argentinian folklore dances! Danced very often at tango events: festivals, marathons or milongas. Dynamic, full of expression and dialogue between partners. We invite you to 2 workshops 75 minutes each. Workshop 1- dedicated to all those who start their adventure with this dance and those who want to work hard on the basic step, structure, rhythm, posture and handwork Workshop 2- as we all know, dance is not only movement, but also the interpretation of music, connection with a partner, expression, emotions. This workshop is dedicated to all those who want to discover the multidimensionality of chacarera and the connection between partners. We will delve into the interpretation of music and explore the feminine and masculine aspects of zarandeos and zapateos. Believe or not but after this workshop you will have master degree in mirada! Important! Both workshops are Open Level and Solo! - we invite those who have never done it before, those who have done so before, but with a lot of timidity and those who won't miss dancing chacarera at every opportunity 🙂 We encourage you to take part in both workshops. About the teacher: Urszula Nowocin is an Argentinian folklore and tango dancer-teacher based in Warsaw/Poland. Ula has been falling in love with Argentinian folklore since the first workshop she took part in in 2016. Later, she went to Argentina for over half a year, where she was overcome by a total folk fever. She has been teaching already for 5 years as well creating a folk community in Poland and Europe by organizing together with Fernando Romero events such as Dale Folklore Dance Camp or Dale Weekend Tango&Folklore. She has performed many shows during tango, folklore and commercial events organized in Poland and abroad together with such a dancers as Fernando Romero Chucky (Arg), Brian Hilario Celaya (Arg), Jorge Caballero (Arg), Nico Italiano (Arg), Ruben Rodriguez (Arg) Don’t miss the chance to dance tango with her during all marathon.
