Chelsea Salsa In The Park

We are back in Chelsea for our second year for one afternoon/evening this summer on Sat., July 22, 2023 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at our NEW LOCATION at the Williams School Courtyard. Chelsea is Co-Founder and Organizer Susy Ismatul Oliva's hometown and our newly chosen location of the beautifully renovated Williams School Courtyard is also Susy's former Elementary/Middle school. Salsa In The Park (SITP), created by MetaMovements, is an innovative community event for all ages, backgrounds, and abilities which combines music, dance, culture, and education. This Summer Chelsea Salsa In The Park Co-Founders Eddie Ocasio and Susy Ismatul Oliva partner once again with MetaMovements to bring you this free outdoor event for all to enjoy! Williams School Courtyard 180 Walnut Street, Chelsea MA – *At the corner of Walnut Street and Fourth Street* Sat., July 22, 2023 - 3:00pm-7:00pm What the afternoon/evening will bring: *Music by DJ eddieTunez * Salsa Class by Susy Ismatul Oliva * Timba Lines/Follow Alongs led by MetaMovements * Dance Performances: Mass Mambo Kids Takechi Ruiz Raices Mambo Unico Lil Phunk Salsa Kids * Social Dancing * Water Tables * Laughter, Sweat & of course, Fun! Location/Transportation/Parking 📍 Williams School Courtyard 180 Walnut Street, Chelsea MA – *At the corner of Walnut Street and Fourth Street* Public Transportation: 🚍 Silver Line 3 from South Station - Stop at Bellingham Station and walk towards Arlington Street and take a left. Walk under the bridge in the direction of the yellow brick building. Take a left on Fifth Street and a right on to Walnut Street. Walk past the school building to find the courtyard. 🚍 111 Bus from Haymarket Station - Stop at Chelsea Square and walk down on Fifth Street. Take a left at Walnut Street. Walk past the school building to find the courtyard. Parking 🚘 School parking lot at the corner of Fifth Street and Walnut Street - adjacent to the school and the lot directly accross under the bridge. Lot on the left is metered and can also be utilized. 🚘 City Hall 500 Broadway, Chelsea MA has available spots. Once parked, locate Bellingham Street next to TD Bank and walk down on Fifth Street. Take a left at Walnut Street. Walk past the school building to find the courtyard.
