(heh-heh) Yeah, we all know that. But we're pretty heated up, excited, about the performance schedule we're going to trot out for you on July 14. If you were at the June CKG, you heard Eric Majeski do one of his new songs for the first time with us; he rocked the house! And this time we'll have Eric full on as our Feature Poet-Performer! But lest we get too hot, we're going to start the evening with something really cool. Shanti Warnimont along with her Ananda Lila troop will be our opening with a Moving Mandala of Sufi Kirtan Dance, with kirtan and live music. Be sure to get there early for this one! We've experienced both Eric and Shanti before and know we're going to get wonderful performances from both of them! John Stuart will be our Feature DJ; he's been sharing his presence and soul with us recently, and we can't wait to hear what he's going to bring musically. Our old friend Dahveed Kneeshack will be back with us sharing massage, and a new friend and healer Katarina Stanisavljecic with Shiatsu. J Francis Nash will be reading Tarot, Ian Bennett is our Feature Artist, John Sacelli be there with AngeLynx; of course our 'melodic goddess' 'house DJ' CarlaStarla will be rounding out the evening. As always, we have no idea of which old friends will be producing new work, or what new genius will be uncovered in the Open Mic Poetry Circle. From small town athlete to Wall Street entrepreneur, to bookstore owner to spiritual healer to musician/writer. From a life of separation to one of unity and love. He has studied with healers and medicine men and women world-wide, assisted many in discovering their highest self, and recently left a successful practice to follow this musical calling full-time.
