This class is the perfect place to start. You’ll learn the core basics, including timing, footwork, connection, lead and follow, turns, and simple patterns that build confidence on the dance floor. No experience or partner is needed. Rachel and Newell focus on solid fundamentals in a relaxed, supportive environment so you can feel comfortable, have fun, and leave ready to enjoy social dancing. 🕖 7:45 PM — 8:30 PM ✨ Timing Variations Take your country swing beyond the basics by exploring the timing variations that add texture, creativity, and musicality to your dancing. Taught by UCWDC World Champions Rachel Mercedes and Newell DeFreest, this class breaks down how to recognize, lead, and follow different rhythms while staying connected to your partner.
